4. Submit Project Results on Project Foundry
It's time to submit your final research paper, works cited page, product, and presentation on Project Foundry. Here's how to do it.
Adding a result to your project involves two steps:
1) uploading the saved files to the project (two ways to do this)
2) submitting the result form.
The result will not be attached to your project unless you complete both these steps. Please read both methods of how to upload a result, as well as your options to submit the form!
Uploading: Method 1
The quickest way to add a result is from your Student Home page, in your Project Queue located in the bottom right-hand side of the page.

Uploading: Method 1
The quickest way to add a result is from your Student Home page, in your Project Queue located in the bottom right-hand side of the page.
- Hover over the project title to which you want to add a result. This will cause the related actions box to appear for that project.
- From the related actions drop down menu, select 'Add Result'.
- When the page reloads, you will be able to select the desired result form, answer any required prompts, and then upload the result to the project.
Uploading: Method 2
Alternatively, you can always add a result by clicking on the 'Results' link while viewing the project.
- From your Student Home page, in your Project Queue located in the bottom right-hand side of the page, click the title of the project to which you want to add a result.
- When the page reloads, click the 'Results' link
- Select the desired result form and click 'Add Results'
- Then upload the results to the project as explained on the Project Results Form.
Submitting Result Forms
Once you fill out a result form and upload the saved files, you will have any or all of the following options:
- Save for Later- Does not send the result to your advisor, but allows you and only you to return and complete the form/upload at a later time.
- Share with Project Team- Does not send the result to your advisor, but allows you and your project team members to return and complete the form at a later time.
- Submit this Result- Sends the result to your advisor and locks the result (you can't change anything). The result can be unlocked by your advisor if submitted in error.
- Submit the Entire Project- Sends the result to your advisor and locks the result (you can't change anything). Additionally, this is your formal way of telling your advisor you are completed with the project. The result can be unlocked by your advisor if submitted in error and the project can be withdrawn by you or your advisor. If a project is withdrawn, the project team will be able to add more results and resubmit at a later date.
